Angeliea Stark is an actor, artist and filmmaker from Houston, Texas. After earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from Texas State University, the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts awarded her a scholarship to spend a season at Actors Theatre of Louisville.
Stark starred as Mina in their annual production of Dracula, workshopped, performed and flew (with the help of ZFX) in Sleep Rock Thy Brain as part of the Humana Festival of New American Plays and still found time to perform in self-written pieces.
Immediately after, Stark moved to New York City where she has starred in Off Broadway and Off-Off Broadway new American plays, (with notable playwrights Jenny Rachel Weiner and Ally Collier), has served as a film programmer and host for the Bushwick Film Festival, Assistant Directed multiple short films and modeled for a variety of companies.
You might have seen her most recently in Untitled American Flag Craft Project by William Burke at the Brick or in the One Minute Play Festival at INTAR. Notable new play workshops include: Developing the role of Emmy in Lucas Hnath's A Doll's House: Part 2 at New Dramatists, Alpha by Stephanie Swirsky at The Tank and Marie or W&M by Jeana Scotti at Ensemble Studio Theatre.
