Angeliea Stark is an actor, writer and model from Houston, Texas. After earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from Texas State University, the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts awarded her a scholarship to spend a year at Actors Theatre of Louisville.
While there, she met and worked with a vast network of inspiring artists and leading American Theatre innovators (such as Lucas Hnath, Anne Washburn, Branden Jacobs Jenkins, Les Waters, Lila Neugebauer, The Mad Ones and many others).
Stark also starred as Mina in their annual production of Dracula, workshopped, performed and flew (with the help of ZFX) in Sleep Rock Thy Brain as part of the Humana Festival of New American Plays and still found time to perform in multiple self-written pieces.
Immediately after, Stark moved to New York City where she has starred in Off Broadway, Off-Off Broadway new American plays, (with notable playwrights Jenny Rachel Weiner and Ally Collier) and has served as an administrative assistant, screener and host for the Bushwick Film Festival.
Recent new play workshops include: Developing the role of Emmy in Lucas Hnath's A Doll's House: Part 2 at New Dramatists which is now on Broadway! But You're Okay and Alpha by Stephanie Swirsky at The Tank and 12/8 by Stephen Amidon with Tony Speciale at Abingdon Theatre Company.
